Wendy Dorfman, MPT
Founder of Sprout Therapy Group
The co-founder and CEO of Sprout Therapy Group, Wendy has more than 15 years experience in the field of pediatric physical therapy. She has extensive experience in the evaluation and treatment of early intervention, preschool and school-age children. In addition to treating children in the home setting, Wendy runs both of Sprout’s Parent-Child group for children with gross motor needs. Wendy has served as a school-based therapist in the West Genesee Central School District since 2004. Wendy earned a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Hahnemann University. She is an active member of the Greater Syracuse Pediatric Therapy Group. She is also the co-founder of My Gym Children’s Fitness Center in Dewitt.
Holly Bundy, DPT - Physical Therapy Director
Holly Quinn joined Sprout Therapy Group in 2013 after three years at ABC Therapuetics, a pediatric therapy group in Buffalo. Holly is a New York State certified Physical Therapist. She earned her undergraduate and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Syracuse University. Throughout her six years at Syracuse, Holly was employed at My Gym Children’s Fitness Center where she worked with Wendy Dorfman to create and implement a class for special needs children. /SUNY Upstate. In addition to delivering in-home therapy, Holly also leads one of Sprout’s Gross Motor Parent-Child Groups. As Sprout's Physical Therapy Director, Holly is on our Core Evaluation team. Holly created and moderates a Pediatric PT Facebook group with 1,000 members. She lives in Fayetteville with her husband. Holly recently had her second child .
Jessica Burton, DPT
Jessica is a New York State licensed Physical Therapist having earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree with Honors from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. While completing her degree, Jessica worked at Children’s Therapy Network working with children with a wide range of gross motor challenges including Down’s syndrome, CP and other developmental delays. Jessica also did clinical work within the Liverpool and J-D school districts.Additionally, Jessica worked in a clinical setting at Chittenango Physical Therapy, giving her an excellent orthopedic base for delivering pediatric therapy. While at SUNY, Jessica also worked at Crouse and St. Joseph’s Hospitals. Jessica earned her undergraduate degree from SUNY – Fredonia where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a member of the Biology and Psychology Honor Societies.
Jennifer Dunning, MPT
Jennifer is a licensed pediatric physical therapist extensive experience in multiple settings, including more than 15 years as a PT in the Syracuse City School District. Jennifer has worked with a wide range of children throughout her career treating and evaluating childrens with Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Autism, Down Syndrome, genetic and developmental disorders. Jennifer is responsible for coordinating continuing education opportunities for the region’s pediatric PT/OT group. She holds a Masters in PT from Syracuse University and an undergraduate degree from Ithaca College.
Kristin Ottaviano, DPT
Kristin Ottaviano joins Sprout Therapy Group having earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse.Kristin comes to Sprout having most recently worked for the last two years at Upstate Hospital in the acute care trauma center where she saw a wide variety of cases.While completing her degree, Kristin did her Level III clinic at the Pediatric Center for Disability Services in Albany where she worked with children with a wide range of gross motor challenges including Down’s syndrome, CP and other developmental delays. Kristin also worked with the pediatric population during her two years at Enable. Additionally, Kristin has done extensive volunteer work in the pediatric special needs community, having worked with Spina Bifida Association, the Special Olympics, Arise and Miracle League. Kristin earned her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University where she earned a B.S. degree in Health and Exercise Science with a double minor in Nutrition and Psychology.
