Early Intervention Groups

Sprout’s Early Intervention Groups provide a nurturing, play-based learning environment for children 18 months to 3 years old. Each group includes six children or fewer, allowing our team to give every child the attention they need to grow and thrive.

Children learn within a supportive small-group setting while also receiving direct services in:

  • Special Instruction

  • Physical Therapy (PT)

  • Occupational Therapy (OT)

  • Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)

Individual (1:1) therapy is provided whenever appropriate to support a child’s specific goals.

Groups meet for 2½ hours, two or three days per week. This schedule provides consistent structure while giving children plenty of time to practice social skills, communication, movement, and early learning concepts.

Why our groups work:

Small-group early intervention helps children learn through peer interaction, shared routines, and guided play. Research shows that group EI promotes social communication, increases child engagement, and helps children generalize new skills across settings. With our low ratios and collaborative team approach, each child benefits from both individualized attention and rich peer learning opportunities.
